A few days ago, I was very relieved and elated, in finishing my latest commissioned project.
I had done plenty of landscapes before, but this was the first time that I was tasked with bringing to life the unique, elegant and eye-watering beauty of Japan.
The imperiousness of Mount Fuji, looming over all of its surroundings.
The timeless elegance of Himeji Castle, standing tall and proud in a foreground of pink blossoms.
The bridge between old and news, reflected in a crystal-clear lake as the colours merge together.
I remain ever so thankful of the opportunity to be asked to bring this project to fruition, and I look forward to the next one!
